Sherford Masterplan. The detailed planning of a new town of 5,500 homes within the framework of a masterplan developed in an Enquiry by Design by The Princes Foundation.
The Glove Factory, Yeovil. A new mixed-use urban block incorporating a listed industrial building and providing 27 houses and 10 flats.
Newquay Growth Area, Phase One. Masterplan for the Prince of Wales for the proposed expansion of Newquay in Cornwall.
Firepool Lock, Taunton. High density mixed use canalside development designed around a Victorian pumphouse.
Golden Valley Mill, Bitton. Two hundred houses on the site of a former automotive parts factory within the village envelope.
Town Hall Site, Tiverton. Competition winning design including 58 new and converted homes, cafe/gallery & amphitheatre on this unique steeply sloping site between the listed town hall and the river Exe.
Shutterton Bridge, Dawlish. Masterplan for a 175 home mixed-use urban extension at Dawlish for Black Country Properties.
Inns Court, Bristol. Reorganisation of a 500 house Radburn style estate incorporating a new local centre.

Wales

Wrexham Road, Rhostyllen. A 223 home village extension including a community hall, local shops and tearoom for the National Trust.
New Road Farm, Blaenavon. One hundred and five houses on a very steep site within the World Heritage Site of Blaenavon in the Welsh Valleys.
Cwm Calon, South Wales. Masterplan for 850 houses on the site of the Penallta Colliery in the Welsh valleys.
Larchfield House Site, Abergavenny. Fifty-one home development on a spectacular site at the edge of the town for Westbury Homes.
Llandarcy, South Wales. Strategic design for the principal square and the first 160 house neighbourhood of a projected new town near Swansea for BP, The Welsh Development Agency and The Prince’s Foundation.

South & East Regions

Kingsmead, Canterbury. A high density urban development on a riverside site within view of Canterbury Cathedral.
Poundbury, Phase 2E. Design for 85 homes within the second phase of this ground-breaking urban village for The Prince of Wales (working within Leon Krier’s Masterplan).
Middle Wallop, Hampshire. Masterplan for a 257 house village for army families at the Army Air Corps helicopter base for the Defence Housing Executive.
Mill Street, Witney. Masterplan for a 120 house project close to the heart of the town for All Souls College, Oxford.
Shaftesbury, Little Shilling and Easterly Extension. Masterplan for 800 house and mixed-use urban extension for Persimmon Homes, Westbury Homes & Heron Land.
Poundbury, Phase One. Lead & coordinating architects for the initial phase of this ground-breaking urban village for The Prince of Wales (working within Leon Krier’s Masterplan).

Midlands and the North

Castle Howard Estate. Six housing layouts within the villages of Slingsby, Terrington and Welburn.
Cloughton Village Plan. A village plan developed in a three day workshop with local stakeholders.
Housing at Keelby. An 89 home extension to this Lincolnshire village on the Earl of Yarborough's estate.
Corve Street, Ludlow. A mixed use urban infill development piecing back a small part of the urban fabric of central Ludlow.
Ebrington, North Cotswolds. 17 houses in the heart of this Cotswold village for Westbury Homes. Won an RIBA Housing Design Award in 2004.
High Street, Dickens Heath. Competition entry for mixed use development on and around the canal basin.

Overseas

Kato Drys, Masterplan, Romania. Masterplan for a new town north-west of Bucharest, reflecting the traditional vernacular of the surrounding towns and villages.

Other

Enquiry by Design. Peterjohn Smyth has joined The Prince’s Foundation’s team at Enquiry by Design events planning major urban developments for Sunderland, Aldershot, Harlow, Newquay, Nelson, Crewkerne, Crewe Green and Romsey and hospital developments at Cherry Knowle (Sunderland), Sutton and Alder Hey (Liverpool).
