Conservation & Listed Buildings

High Street, Caerleon. A new house in the form of a long stone barn, built on a site with Roman archaeology within the Conservation Area in the heart of Caerleon, South Wales.
Lookout, Weymouth. A new timber house within the curtilage of a Grade II listed observation tower overlooking Chesil Beach.
Great Western Road, Chard. A proposed mixed-use development centred around the grade II listed ex railway station in Chard, Somerset.  
Health Centre, Bishopston. The conversion of a listed Edwardian swimming pool into a Health Centre, including the insertion of an intermediate floor.
The Glove Factory, Yeovil. A new mixed-use urban block incorporating a listed industrial building and providing 27 houses and 10 flats.
General Office, Ebbw Vale. The refurbishment and extension of the Grade 2* General Office at the heart of the Ebbw Vale Masterplan Area.
Firepool Lock, Taunton. High density mixed use canalside development designed around a listed Victorian pumphouse.
Merchants’ Almshouse. The reinstatement of the wing lost to bombing during World War 2.
Dove Street, Kingsdown. A small infill scheme of ‘microflats’ within the Georgian area of the Kingsdown Conservation Area.
Town Hall Site, Tiverton. Competition winning design including 58 new and converted homes, cafe/gallery & amphitheatre on this unique steeply sloping site between the listed town hall and the river Exe.
St. Andrew Street, Tiverton. The conversion of 12 houses, including two listed buildings in a conservation area in the heart of Tiverton. (Part of our competition winning design for the Town Hall Site).
Corve Street, Ludlow. A mixed use urban infill development piecing back a small part of the urban fabric of central Ludlow.
Malvern House, Redland, Bristol. Modernist style apartments and town houses close to listed buildings in the Redland Conservation Area. Won a Bristol Civic Society Award.
Ebrington, North Cotswolds. Seventeen houses in the heart of this Cotswold village for Westbury Homes. Won an RIBA Housing Design Award in 2004.
Middle Farm, Poundbury. The conversion and extension of an existing farm grouping to provide new facilities for a software company.
Cotshill Gardens, Chipping Norton. Conversion of a grade II listed workhouse into 22 houses for Regalian Properties.
Luccombe, Somerset. Three houses for the elderly in this National Trust village for the West Somerset Rural Housing Association. Won the National Award for ‘Buildings in the Countryside’ in 1992 and a Civic Trust Commendation.
Upper Bugle Street, Southampton. Conservation area development of 96 flats for the elderly and single people.
