The 1960's saw the gardens of many of the Edwardian villas in north Guildford infilled with houses and bungalows, most of which now look out of place. This project demolishes one such bungalow and replaces it with a substantial two storey family house in the Surrey tradition. The site in question is a sizeable corner plot with a fine belt of mature trees screening the house along the north side. The house is tile-hung with a sweeping roof and leaded light windows in keeping with the area. There are five bedrooms and a study on the upper floor and the reception rooms are designed with many interconnecting doors so that the ground floor can be opened up for social occasions.
