The redevelopment of the site of a former warehouse which reinforces the existing Victorian townscape in the dockside area of Bristol. The principal elevation links the pubs at each corner of the site to recreate a streetscene in the Victorian style, whilst the front and rear elevations are detailed in brickwork to relate to the 1960's Brooke Bond warehouse which has since been converted into the Spike Island Art Centre. The scheme comprises eight family houses and twelve one bedroom flats for Knightstone Housing Association. Through the archway, behind the street frontage , lies a quiet sunny inner courtyard for the benefit of the residents.
