A private house designed for easy wheelchair access set within the Conservation Area in the historic village of Kersey in Suffolk. The house is broken down into two gabled volumes, which is a pattern typical of the village and the area. The accommodation includes two good double bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom, and a large hallway. The glazed entrance porch doubles as a sunroom and the living/dining room has a generous ceiling height and a fireplace with a wood-burning stove. The materials of the new house reflect the traditional pattern of the village - clay plain tiles, smooth painted render with a black plinth and painted timber windows and doors.
